Pulling it all together

Airbus is now entering full-scale production of the largest civil airliner ever built: the A380. In bringing this project to market, Airbus needed to leverage the resources and innovation resident in its heritage companies and at the same time achieve radical reductions in cost and time to market. This meant it had to establish a completely new product-development model for the A380 program.
