They can be mounted on an aircraft wheel without modification to the existing assembly. Advantages include continuous monitoring of tire pressure; combination gauge and fill valve assembly replaces existing fill valve in wheel port; easily readable; tire inflation through fill valve portion of assembly; and assembly clears all existing aircraft structures when wheel is retracted.
