Triaxial accelerometer

The Model 356B20 is a triaxial accelerometer from PCB Piezotronics, Inc., that features an extended measurement range for accurate vibration measurements up to 5000 g in three orthogonal directions. It has a sensitivity rating of 1.0 mV/g. Built-in signal conditioning microelectronics provide clean, low-impedance voltage output signals that can be transmitted over relatively long cable lengths. The shear design offers low transverse sensitivity under 5%, and the 0.14-oz hermetically sealed titanium housing minimizes mass-loading effects on small- or light-test articles. The sensor terminates with a side-mounted 8-32, four-pin connector. Typical applications include flight-testing and applications requiring high g measurements.
