Pressure sensors
Series 106 and 116 dynamic pressure sensors from the Pressure Div. of PCB Piezotronics, Inc. can measure low-level pressure and high-intensity sound pressure levels, both acoustic and ultrasonic. Applications include monitoring pulsations, turbulence, and noise in hydraulic and pneumatic systems; detecting pressure fluctuations in exhaust systems, compressors, turbines, pumps, and pipe lines; and measuring noise of jet engines, rocket motors, and weapons discharge.
Pulse transformers
Beta Transformer Technology's 1553 pulse transformer product series, MLP-2000, is a surface-mount package with an 0.185-in maximum height that provides a 70% reduction in board space compared to similar MIL-PRF-21038/27 QPL listed surface mount pulse transformers. It has an operating temperature of -55 to +105°C and is available in 5, 12, and 15-V turns-ratios. It is fully compatible with all 1553 drivers, receivers, and transceivers.
Test controller
MTS Systems Corp.'s Aero ST enhances both the control and data-acquisition functions of its aerospace test systems. The controller maximizes the capabilities of the firm's Aero Pro aerospace testing software and offers many new features for makers of aircraft and spacecraft, including improved capabilities for static and durability testing, superior hardware, and a compact footprint. It supports up to 32 channels and up to four stations without configuration restraints.
Spectrum analyzer
Agilent Technologies' E4448A and E4446A spectrum analyzers provide engineers with speed, accuracy, dynamic range, and sensitivity for measuring complex RF, microwave, and millimeter wave signals. The analyzers are code-compatible with the 8566 and 8568 spectrum analyzers. The E4448A enables users to design and test integrated systems and perform depot-level testing at frequencies up to 50 GHz. The E4446A has an intuitive interface and one-button measurement capability.
Pressure transducer
The Sensotec Model A-105 is a subminiature, flush diaphragm pressure transducer that delivers up to 0.1% accuracy. The environmentally sealed unit features an operating temperature from -65 to +350°F for use in severe environmental applications. It is sturdy enough to handle pressures of 0-15,000 psig.
