Position sensor is tough

Spectrol's Model 155 noncontacting position sensor integrates a Hall-effect magnetic field sensor and a magnetic circuit to convert radial motion into a voltage output signal. Standard electrical angles off the shelf are 60, 75, 90, 105, 120, 135, and 150°, all with an output signal of 0.5 V dc to 4.5 V dc. With only one moving part and all circuitry and components encapsulated in epoxy, the unit is immune to the effects of water, dirt, dust, lubricants, shock, and vibration.
