The SAFIR 3000 is an enhanced version of Dimensions' SAFIR thunderstorm forecasting system. The system's capacity for detecting all intra-cloud and cloud-to-ground discharges enables SAFIR to provide early warning and forecasting information as soon as a storm starts to develop. It also provides real-time information on areas that present a potential danger of lightning strikes, heavy rainfall, or hail.
