Lightweight cargo adhesive
Tyco
Adhesives lightweight Polyken 294FR cargo tape for sealing fiberglass liner
seams in aircraft cargo bays uses a high-performance, rubber-based adhesive
to deliver a greater bond to sustain durability. This pressure-sensitive tape
is manufactured with a high-strength fiberglass cloth, which is available printed
or unprinted, and a high-density polyethylene film liner. Upon tear-away, the
adhesive leaves virtually no residue on the cargo panel, which facilitates installation
and removal.
Rugged temperature probe
Sensor
Scientific Inc.'s Rugged Temperature Probe provides high-accuracy sensing under
the harshest conditions. The integrated stainless steel sensor well/hermetically-sealed
connector is resistant to moisture, vibration, mechanical shock, temperature
shock, and corrosive environments. Available in both thermistor and Pt RTD element
versions, several options are available for connector type and probe style.
Remote TIG welding
Designed
for TIG welding operators who work long distances from the power source, Welding
Nozzle International's TIG Torch Construction Bucket contains every tool and
accessory field operators need. The 6.5-gallon bucket allows operators to weld
in a 200-ft radius of the power removable recorder/reproducer LRU, it comes
standard with the AMPEX DCRsi interface that provides command compatibility
with existing airborne data acquisition systems and ground data analysis systems.
Bandpass filter
Microwave
Filter Co.'s international version C-band waveguide bandpass filter, model 11383,
is installed between a TVRO feedhorn and the LNA or LNB to suppress strong out-of-band
interference caused by marine or airport radar systems. The unit has a typical
insertion loss of 0.5 dB at the center frequency and 1.25 dB maximum at 3.6
GHz and 4.2 GHz. Suppression is 25 dB minimum at 3.55 GHz and 4.25 GHz. From
flange to flange, the unit is 5.375 in long, and the flanges are rectangular
CPR-229G (grooved) and CPR-229F (flat). It is also available in lightweight
(approximately 1.5 lb) aluminum construction.
Coating thickness measurement probe
The
ETD3.3 eddy current coating thickness measurement probe from Fischer Technology,
Inc. provides greater compensation for the curvature influence of a part's surface.
The probe measures accurately on surfaces as small as a few millimeters in diameter,
and calibration is not needed for the given diameter. The probe is designed
for coating thickness measurements on nonferrous metals such as aluminum as
well as anodized coatings on aluminum. The performance characteristics of this
probe make it particularly well-suited for measurements on aluminum constructions
with variable surface geometry.
