Infrared camera

Indigo Systems' Omega thermal imager in a ruggedized enclosure measures 1.35 x 1.45 x 1.90 in and has a mass of 120 g. The unit is made with an uncooled vanadium oxide microbolometer detector and on-focal-plane signal processing. An optional fire wire by Apple Computer increases modularity and extends the flexible architecture for custom configurations. The camera features both analog RS-170A, and 14-bit digital output. It also has an automatic function to switch into extended temperature range mode, allowing it to shoot in temperatures up to 400°C. Applications include industrial process monitoring, unmanned vehicles, robotics, and military use.
