Fiber-optic amplifiers

Pepperl+Fuchs' SU16 series fiber-optic amplifiers deliver scanning in a10-mm-profile package. They are available in high-power/high-sensitivity models or ultra-fast models with up to an 8-kHz switching frequency. Sensitivity can be fine-tuned via amulti-turn potentiometer. The device features self-diagnostic LEDs and weak-signal outputs, as well as mutual interference protection for enhanced detection stability and performance reliability. The scanning range is up to 6 m, with a response time as fast as 50 µs.
