In-flight DVD system - IEC International Product Showcase Nonmotion simulator BAE Systems has developed a nonmotion simulator for pilot and maintenance awareness training. The company's commercial head-up display, called the Visual Guidance System, has been packaged in a deployable stand to allow customers to move the equipment between operations centers. The simulator is comprised of a head-up display, projector, stand, screen, and personal computer. The software allows pilots to become familiarized with a variety of flight scenarios. The simulator is capable of operating in both VMC (visual meteorological conditions) and IMC (instrument meteorological conditions) modes. Aerospace Engineering June 2000
