BFGoodrich Avionics Systems' AIM 1200 series Standby Attitude Indicator is a form, fit, and function interchangeable unit for the AIM 510 series of standby instruments. The 1200 series offers several enhancements, including a spin-bearing package that uses state-of-the-art technology proven to increase reliability. It includes options such as front or rear mounting, slip indicator, NVG lighting and fixed-roll dial. These standby instruments have undergone additional DO-160D environmental testing, including HIRF/lightning, and are particularly beneficial in high-duty cycle environments and helicopter applications.
