Compact videoscope

Olympus America Inc. Industrial Products Group has developed the IV5C6, a 5-mm diameter videoscope specifically designed for small aircraft and helicopter engine inspections. The videoscope transmits bright, clear, full-screen video images of small engine turbine blades, vanes, compressors, and other components that cannot be accessed by larger diameter scopes. It is compatible with the company's portable inspection systems that allow a variety of digital image management functions to be performed, including image store and measure, import/export, floppy disk transfer to PCs, and email. The videoscope is also compatible with all kitted guide tubes for each engine variant.
