Runway incursion prevention

Orincon Corp.'s Ground Safety Tracking and Reporting System (GSTRS) allows controllers to monitor traffic flow on runways and taxiways and identify potential incursions. GSTRS is weather-independent and does not have the blind spot problems of existing ground radar. Marketed as a joint effort of ARINC and Orincon, GSTRS is based on advanced signal processing and neural network technologies. Its technology incorporates off-the-shelf hardware that is more cost effective than existing FAA ground tracking radar.
