Low-cost converters

Powercube's LPD150 series dc-to-dc converters employ an innovative topology
similar to a standard forward converter with special integrated magnetics to
reduce component count over competing converter designs. The converters
provide advanced features such as thermal shutdown and over-voltage protection
as standard offerings. They offer input, output, and baseplate isolation
of more than 2500 VRMS and efficiencies as high as 90%. All models operate at
a frequency of 375 kHz and are available with input voltages of 12, 24, 48,
72, 150, or 300 v. LPD150 models, including those offering 300-v input,
meet their specs to temperatures of 100°C.
