New EMC facility

TûV Product Service has a new EMC facility.

New high specification EMC (electromagnet compatibility) chambers have been installed by TûV Product Service at its UK facility. They will meet the needs of the aerospace, defense and other industries, says the company. The major system is a shielded enclosure that can be configured via a demountable folding wall, as two anechoic/ferrite hybrid enclosures measuring 5 x 7 x 6 m. The chamber can be used for running separate investigations, or for system-testing paired elements. With the dividing wall removed, the chamber is configured as a 10 x 7 x 6 m chamber with a 3.5 m flush turntable and 4 x 4 m access.
