A380 wing manufacture takes off

Airbus UK, responsible for the design and manufacture of the wings for all Airbus variants, has installed new production facilities at its Broughton, North Wales, facility in preparation for manufacture of the wings for the twin-deck A380. The facilities include new Skin and Stringer Manufacturing Centers, which the company regards as state-of-the-art, and essential to ensure first wing delivery next year.
