Carson, President, Connexion by Boeing, who sees the use of wireless technology and the weight saving that goes with it as very good news for the airline business. As just about everyone in the aerospace industry knows, saving weight saves fuel and saving fuel reduces operating costs. Not only would increased use of wireless technology save weight, it would also help to simplify an airplane.
