TEC Electrical's new instrument panel design features secret-till-lit legends.

A new range of aircraft instrument panels featuring legends that remain hidden until illuminated by light-emitting diodes (LEDs) located on a printed circuit board (PCB) behind the plastic fascia, have been developed by TEC Electrical Components. Designed to comply with MIL-P-7788F Type VII and be resistant to shock and vibration, the panels feature dual circuitry for built-in redundancy. Circuit boards are removable for ease of servicing. The LED technology allows the generation of high brightness levels with low heat. All standard LED colors can be specified including white from a single LED die to high-brightness green.
