FLO/MCAD from Flomerics Inc. is a
dynamic software module that generates simplified thermal model equivalents from complex MCAD geometrical models. FLO/MCAD can process data created in MCAD packages including AutoCAD, SolidDesigner, Pro/ENGINEER, I-DEAS, and Unigraphics. The software intelligently filters complex
geometry data, while preserving the volume or surface area, to produce simpli-fied thermal equivalents. It decomposes the model data automatically into Flotherm primitives for use in an analysis.
