System has enhanced surface modeling

Spatial Technology's ACIS 4.3 3-D modeling kernel features enhanced surface modeling, a technology preview of a new visual manipulation component, and across-the-board performance improvements. Surface modeling techniques are enhanced via improvements to lofting, shelling, and sweeping. The technology preview features an object-oriented visual manipulation component that provides flexible, robust graphic capabilities. The component directly uses OpenGL for all 3-D wireframe and shaded drawing, and it allows users to display and manipulate non-ACIS model data easily.
