SPE recognizes innovative plastics use

Honda's first pickup truck, the 2006 Ridgeline, has received much praise since its March launch. Now one of its more innovative features, the industry's first composite, multi-piece, in-bed trunk supplied by Meridian Automotive Systems, has been honored as the Grand Award winner for the 35th annual Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) Automotive Innovation Awards in November.
