Contact materials for relay

Fujitsu Takamisawa America, Inc. has increased the contact rating of its compact, power automotive relay series to meet the motor control needs of larger passenger vehicles such as sport utility vehicles and minivans. The addition of a new formulation of silver-tin oxide indium oxide contact material gives the relay series an added contact rating of 14 V dc, 25 A at locked motor load with a minimum electrical life of 20 million operations. The series is offered in single (FBR51/52) and twin (FBR510/520) relay versions.
