Elf Atochem's Orgalloy features temperature stability and sound mechanical properties for the manufacture of under-hood tubing such as oil inlet pipes and air ducting for turbo engines (particularly turbodiesel engines). The properties of the polyamide/polyolefin alloys include wide-ranging flexibility, with flexural modulus between 200 MPa (29,000 psi) and 3000 MPa (435,000 psi ); suitability for extrusion blow-molding, including 3-D sequential extrusion blow molding; and thermal resistance up to 140-150°C (280-300°F).
