Maniverter reduces emissions

Arvin Industries' maniverter, a manifold/catalytic converter combination, reduces emissions by positioning the converter much closer to the engine, enabling quicker light-off in the catalytic converter. The company employed new technology that allows it to weld the stainless steel shell housing the converter to a cast-metal manifold. The maniverter features less mass and cost along with improved durability and space savings.
