The Motion Master Ride Management System from Lord Corp. contains a microprocessor that responds more than 500 times per second to road conditions and provides suspension adjustments automatically. A key element of the system is Rheonetic magnetic fluid, which changes from a liquid to near-solid in milliseconds to provide varying levels of softness or firmness to match changing levels of shock and motion. The stronger the magnetic field, the thicker the fluid. The driver can choose from among three ride settings.
