Bayer Corp.'s heat-resistant Therban developmental product, Therban HT VP KA 8805, was developed to perform in temperatures up to 165° C (329°F). Retaining more than 50% of its properties at 150°C (302°F) for up to or nearly twice as long as other HNBR compounds, the material is suitable for automotive parts that require superior performance in high temperatures.
