Force-limited seals

Force-limited seals from Feodor Burgmann Dichtungswerke GmbH & Co. are used for nonload bearing-flange applications that experience high thermal stress and mechanical loads. The FL seal separates the bearing function as much as possible from the sealing function. FL gasket applications can be made for every function, including cylinder head/manifold applications for which graphite is used as the sealing element.
