Self-retained wheel bearings

FAG Bearings Ltd. is producing a 3.2 design orbitally formed wheel bearing for the DaimlerChrysler JA platform, which includes the Cirrus, Stratus, and Breeze. Production of a second self-retained bearing is to be used on an upcoming North American application for the 2003 model year. This bearing will include an integrated sensor, which allows better serviceability and higher reliability.
