Snap rings

Smalley Steel Ring Co. has developed a new Snap Ring Series complementary to its Spiral Retaining Ring Series. They are manufactured by coiling flat wire, producing a snap ring that has no protruding ears or burrs to interfere with performance. They are stocked in carbon steel with diameters ranging from 1.3-28 cm (0.5-11 in). Special designs are available with diameters ranging from 1.3-213 cm (0.5-84 in) and can be inexpensively produced in stainless steel.
