Gasket for hot temperatures

HotDog gaskets from Feodor Burgmann Dichtungswerke GmbH & Co. help engines to meet the stricter emissions limits of ULEV and Euro4. They are used on hot flanges with high tightness demands. A core element is based on highly compressible graphite, which is protected from air ingress by a mica foil applied to both sides; a spiked sheet insert acts as a mechanical reinforcement.
