design criteria, and corrosion resistance data of Norglide bearings. The maintenance-free,
self-lubricating, plain bearings are made from a fluoropolymer material that
is soft enough to handle backlash-free interference fits with minimal stick-slip
and a low coefficient of friction. They are available with metal backing of
carbon steel or stainless steel for corrosive applications, aluminum for weight
reduction, or other materials.
