Elastomers are compatible with new lubricating fluids

Dyneon base resistant elastomers (BREs) are made to withstand the demanding conditions found in basic and amine-containing environments, particularly those involving new lubricating fluids in the automotive industry. The BREs are ideal for use in molding gaskets, seals, O-rings, and other components. They provide favorable high-temperature resistance and processability similar to that of standard fluoroelastomers, as well as good metal adhesion, mold release, and versatility.
