Tools manage torque

Three Utica tools from Cooper Power Tools perform torque management. The UTS-3000 is for production line use, the UTS-5100 is for calibration and toolroom use, and the UTS-6000 is a torque acquisition system. The UTS-3000 can test click, dial, and calibrate digital wrenches plus most power tools, including impulse and dc electric. The UTS-5100 provides automatic recognition of one to six transducers in ranges from 706 mN•m (100 oz•in.) to 2710 N•m (2000 lb•ft). It has single-step access to all functions and can be locked for tamper-proof operation. The UTS-6000 has a menu-driven data collector that enables operators to acquire and store torque information with minimal training.
