Upper-die clamping

Hilma's chain-drive traveling clamps provide automotive upper-die clamping on large metal stamping presses. The clamps accommodate dies of different shoe widths, and are specially suited to automotive stampers, as new or retrofit systems. Compact traveling clamps feature an electric motor-driven chain that moves the hydraulic clamp against the die; the chain drive is completely retracted from the T slot when the clamps are in the home position.
