The OASIS 2000 (Optimal Architecture Sensor Interface System) from Endevco Corp. is a computer-controlled, multi-channel laboratory measurement instrumentation front-end that provides users with an interface to a data-acquisition system for a variety of sensors including strain gauges, piezoelectric and piezoresistive pressure sensors, and accelerometers. Optional add-on expansion features minimize setup and data-entry errors, both in hardware and software. The system can be used for modal analysis for large structures such as automobiles, airplanes, spacecraft, and heavy machinery.
