Getting vehicles to market faster
A speed record is on the horizon as the world's largest automaker races to develop and release vehicles in 12 months. "It's a significant program for us," said Jim Queen, Vice President of General Motors North America Engineering. Further details about the 12-month timetable—spanning styling freeze to start of production—have not yet been revealed.
