Formula SAE: success now and later
The latest Formula SAE Collegiate Design Series competition, put on by SAE International, dynamically illustrates why college students commit to what typically amounts to an unpaid full-time job to design and engineer a reliable racecar. From the nearly 2000 students attending this year's competition to the hundreds of corporate and individual team sponsors, all involved reaped plenty of rewards.
