AB Automotive Inc. has developed a compact, conductive polymer throttle position sensor designed for use in any rotary position sensing application. CP Series throttle sensors are rated for operating temperatures from -40° to +125 °C. They meet automotive industry requirements for salt spray, vibration, and shock resistance, and have been tested to an endurance life of more than 5 million cycles. Specifications include a standard resistance range of 500 to 5k½ with tolerances available to ±10%, and independent linearity of ±2%. Each sensor includes an internal wiper protection resistor and an integral three-contact Metri-Pack Series 150 Connector.
